Shredz is a Tokyo-born snowboarding brand built for the bold. Not your average gear shop, Shredz is a lifestyle movement rooted in street energy and deep powder rides. The founders, a crew of ex-pro riders and indie designers, wanted to reimagine the snowboarding experience for the new wave: fearless, urban, tech-savvy, and style-obsessed.
I teamed up with the Shredz crew to create their full brand identity,
e-commerce platform, mobile app, and shop experience.
The vibe? Raw. Gritty. Straight from the city to the mountain. Every detail was designed to feel like movement - fast, slick, and wild.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE
The Shredz team came to me with one bold goal:
“Make snowboarding feel like street culture.”
They were over the stale alpine aesthetic - the clean whites, the corporate blues - and wanted something that spoke to the underground scene. Think punk meets powder: VHS footage, gritty rails, and rider-driven drops. My task was to channel that raw energy into a full digital experience.
I crafted a visual identity that blends streetwear attitude with winter sport edge, then built a seamless web and mobile shop tailored for the culture - bold product pages, drop-based navigation, and a built-in sense of community.
More than just e-commerce, the platform enables connection between riders, designers, and artists - whether they’re sharing clips, launching collabs, or planning the next urban session.

BRANDING & UI DIRECTION
Our branding and UI direction for Shredz was driven by precision, attitude, and motion. The logo was crafted with razor-sharp geometry, echoing board grip patterns and an urban, no-rules vibe. I established a bold visual contrast using Slasher Orange and Ice Drift Blue, anchored in darker tones like Shred Black and Deck Wax to ground the palette. The typography paired Satoshi for clarity with Manrope for punchy headers and expressive bursts.
Motion played a key role -scroll-triggered effects and hover states kept the experience dynamic and fast-paced. The UI was stripped of excess, relying on gritty textures and raw compositions to tell the brand story visually.
Even social content followed suit, with punchy Instagram grids, rider reels, and a system for timed collabs via stories and bio links - all designed to feel immediate, lived-in, and unapologetically Shredz.
